NEW ALBUM SOON, but in the meantime......

We have been busy over the past few months preparing our new album for your ears.

As of yet, we still don't have a name, this is the tricky part!!!

But we do have 2 new videos for you to check out.

First up is 'Phantom Power', which was released for Halloween. Its all about spooks ghost and gouls.

The second is a behind the making of 'On the Hush'. A little exclusive on whats to come in the full feature. Its sort of a short film, based on an old Devon past time, Smuggling! The video and track are released on the 20th November.

Recently we have had our music featured on a few promotion videos

First up was the RNLI promo video which features our song 'Poetry'. This video show you a day in the life of a Lifeguard and was put filmed and put together by our local North Devon lifeguards

The second video is another promo reel to let people know about the Tour de Force event which ex Royal Marine Mark Ormrod, who is a triple amputee, will hand cycle around the coast of Great Britain along with others. So its very fitting to have our song 'Great Britain' to accompany it.

The festival is held at Watergate Bay - Newquay.

Welcome to the new blog of the Breaks Collective.

This is going to be the place to find out all the latest new on the band, and other stuff that surround are daily doings

Right, first things first!

We have redesigned our website,

basically a spring clean, ready for the release of 2 singles which are raising money for the RNLI and RMCTF.

We are giving up all the profits of the 2 single release, (Great Britain 28th May and Poetry 18th June) to these charities for the period of one year. We feel that living on the coast the RNLI are one of the great charities run solely on donations, with our sax player also being a lifeguard,this give us another reason to want to help.
The RMCTF is also a charity that is right on our door step so to speak, based in Exmouth, but with marines from all over, this charity is here to help rehabilitate the injured marines. With Chivenor marine base also just down the road form us, these guys need help with donations to keep doing the great job they do, so we are going to do are best to try and raise some cash for them.

Also we have just signed a distribution deal with InGrooves to make this all happen. This will give us the platform we need to spread the word and music even further afield, and to make more noise!
